About

My jewelry creation started as an afternoon sit-down with my jeweler grandmother. I was a teenager, and she helped me make a necklace of red coral beads, citrine, and silver.

My interest grew and grew over time, and I've since worked making jewelry professionally for over a decade, & as my own creative entity since 2018. My basic knowledge and technical skills come from Seattle's Pratt Fine Arts Center. I'm an experimenter, and have found my style while spending hundreds of hours learning my hand tools and torch... testing, trying, reaching, arriving, and doing it all again.

I study and collect old adornments from old cultures, with a special interest in my heritage lands of East and Southeast Asia. This connection informs and inspires much of my work.

Outside of jewelry, I love learning about wild plants, gardening, reveling in movement & dance, and indulging in anything that puts me in a state of play.
