My jewelry creation started as an afternoon sit-down with my grandmother. I was a teenager, and she helped me make a necklace of red coral beads, citrine, and silver.

I've since worked making jewelry professionally for over a decade, & as my own creative entity since 2018. My basic knowledge and technical skills come from Seattle's Pratt Fine Arts Center. I'm an experimenter, and have found my style while spending hundreds of hours learning my hand tools and torch... testing, trying, fumbling, reaching, arriving.

I study and collect old adornments from old cultures, with a special interest in my heritage lands of East and Southeast Asia. This connection informs and inspires much of my work.

I love learning about wild plants, gardening, reveling in everything movement & dance related, and anything that puts me in a state of play.
